Services we offer
Our assessment and therapy plans are bespoke to each individual. An information gathering phone call will be arranged prior to the assessment which is free of charge and will usually last approximately 30 mins. This will ensure the therapist has a good idea of what you would like to achieve in therapy and in order for an appropriate assessment plan to be made.
Tele health or therapy
We offer tele therapy over various online platforms. Please discuss teletherapy further with your therapist. IT support is also offered with teletherapy packages.
Assessment
Individualised assessment to gather information on your current strengths, difficulties, and find out what you want to achieve. The assessment process is tailored to your specific needs so a free telephone consultation is always completed prior to assessment.
Therapy
Evidenced based therapy plan is discussed with you and an action plan agreed. The therapist will use a range of techniques and approaches in order for you to meet your goals.
Group therapy
We currently offer a specialised evidenced based dementia therapy group. The group is run within your care home and specialised to the needs of your resident. We offer weekly groups where your residents with the aim to improve residents participation and connection with their peers.
The therapy uses evidenced based therapeutic approaches and sessions include various activities based on cognitive stimulation, art therapy, mindfulness and relaxation, sensory stimulation, chair based yoga, music therapy and reminiscence therapy.

Reports
We can provide reports following assessment and/or therapy block. Please discuss with the SLT what your needs are and a detailed report will be provided.
Liaising with other professionals
It may be necessary to liaise with other professionals such as doctors, other speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, etc.
This may be because you are accessing both NHS and private services. Please discuss your needs with the SLT and this can be arranged.
